The much awaited iphone is set to hit Indian Markets towards the end of 2008. The Apple iphone is set to storm the market in the month of September. After creating a storm all across America and Europe, Apple is believed to start rolling out models in India as well. The iphone price in the western nations has come down after the wild debut it made coming down by almost 100 to 200 dollars in the United States of America market. The iphone price of the 8 GB model was lowered by almost two hundred dollars in September 2007 and hence it is believed that the iphone will release in India not having a very high price tag so as to attract the upper class as well as the middle class since India is a huge market for all cell phone manufacturers.
Once the model had hit the market, it opened with great reviews all across the World. The iphone reviews certified that it matched all the hype it had debuted in. The iphone had already created a buzz and had about 70 million hits on Google even before it had debuted. And the hype and popularity only grew after its launch.
The number of Indian Mobile subscribers is set to reach 500 million subscribers by the year 2010 and the iphone’s launch is set to increase the competition amongst the other Mobile communication service providers. Apple iphone is set to be launched in India with the services of Vodafone which is a giant across the World in providing telecommunication services. It had earlier launched as iphone cingular (now known as AT & T) in America. The launch in India is set to create as much hype as it did in the Western Nations. The iphone release date is not known for sure but Steve Jobs, the chief of Apple had said that they would be releasing the iphone in the month of September. Though it is believed that the launch will be delayed but Apple still maintains that it would be launched by the end of the year 2008.
The iphone 3G model has everything that it had promised and has lived up to its expectations. It’s a revolutionary model.
